SHANTI NIKETAN
The school was established on 21st July 1988 in the sweet memory of Seth Shri Bachharaj Ji (popularly known as “Secretary Sahib”), Shri Multanmal Ji, Shri Mukanchand Ji, and Shri Badarmal Ji Aniyav of Balotra.
It was founded and is managed by the Mithalal Gautamkumar Charitable Trust, Balotra.
The initial aim was to provide quality education while upholding traditional Indian values of honesty, integrity, and service.
The school began with just 15 students in the Nursery class. Today, it has grown to a strength of over 700 students.
The entire campus is under CCTV surveillance, which is used to monitor and record all activities on school premises. This surveillance is conducted with the full awareness of students, parents, and teachers.
The school has well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science (Junior and Senior levels). It also boasts a rich library, a well-maintained sports arena, and facilities for indoor games.
Alongside academic instruction in the three R’s—Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic—the school places a strong emphasis on imparting moral values and “Sanskaras” to instill basic human virtues in its students.
It continues to develop into an institution of educational excellence.
