Shri Mithalal M. Shah

Shri Mithalal M. Shah, a renowned industrialist - popularly known as BABUJI, a visionary, a kind hearted, noble soul: the father of Shanti Niketan, Chairman of both the M.G. Charitable Trust and the Board of School Management of Shanti Niketan School played an instrumental role in the opening of this temple of learning with English Medium.

Besides promoting and developing the cause of value based education for excellence, he has contributed significantly for the development of Rajasthan Hospital (G.R.M.I.) in Ahmedabad and is actively associated with the educational, social, cultural and Relief activities of Rajasthan Sewa Samiti - an institution of high repute.

His wife Smt. Sumitra M. Shah a religious, kind hearted and affectionate lady with firm determination has always been an inspiring spirit behind all the benevolent projects of Babuji. She regularly visits Shanti Niketan and takes keen interest in the activities of School. She has proved this proverb that after the success of every great man, there is a lady at the back and Smt. Sumitra M. Shah is the Inspiring Force for the success of Shri Mithalalji.

At the Helm

The school presently at his helm has - the Retd. Dy. Director of Education, an eminent educationalist having vast experience in the field of education, author of several Text Books in English for Secondary and Higher Secondary students, who has very adroitly given Shanti Niketan a tremendous impetus to academic excellence and divisional fame, from its multifarious innovative co-curricular activities and high standards of academic achievements. He is everything for Shanti Niketan.
